A Message for Our Members and Our Communities

Posted on

MEMC is joining the many that have made changes in their working environment in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. Because we are a service provider to more than 24,630 residential and commercial members in Mitchell, Worth and Dougherty counties, our concern for our communities, our members and our employees is paramount in our decision process. Keeping our workforce healthy and ready to respond to any situation that arises on our system is our priority.

Our lobbies at all locations remain closed to the public at this time. Personnel are available via phone or email to respond to member inquires. All service requests should be made through our customer service center by calling 800-479-6034. Additionally, our website provides many on-line options for service orders and payments. Members can find the website at mitchellemc.com and the account login is located on the home page. The MEMC Mobile App is one more avenue for account information, payments and a means to report a service outage. Service orders requiring face-to-face contact will be evaluated according to need. Rest assured that we are prepared to respond to any power-related problem, including outages, as normal.

We hope that each of you will stay safe and follow the precautions that are being provided by health officials. Just be assured that we will continue to provide reliable service to you. Any updates concerning our service continuity will be available on social media and our website.
