Time of Use Rate

Mitchell EMC offers a Time of Use rate for irrigation customers.  This rate offers many advantages to all members of Mitchell EMC.  Qualifying members who elect to sign up for this rate agree to use irrigation during ‘off peak’ times for a special rate.  This helps all Mitchell EMC members save on power costs by shaving load during the hours power use is highest.

When you sign up for Time-of-Use rates, Mitchell EMC installs a special electric meter that records the date and time, logging all energy used during peak and off-peak periods.
